An easier foundation for synthetic turf, replacing or in most cases eliminating stone. In essence, it's a stone replacement system.

Our panels provide the same structure and drainage of stone in a lightweight, engineered panel. By removing just the existing grass and minimizing the disturbance to the existing area, the panels do not change the native characteristics of the soil.

Together with a geotextile fabric, our engineered panels spread the load over the subgrade while providing both vertical and horizontal drainage.

Our panels simplify the base construction underneath synthetic turf, eliminating the expertise required in choosing the proper stone, proper compaction, proper moisture content and proper drainage for base construction. Our panels save time, reduce impact on the jobsite, and always result in a consistent drainage rate and a smooth foundation for synthetic turf.

Our panels can be used anywhere synthetic turf is installed from residential and commercial applications to sports fields, and everything in between: putting greens, playgrounds, dog runs, tee lines, rooftops, difficult-to-access areas, etc.

Our panels are proudly made 100% in the USA.

Our panels are made of a durable polyethylene polymer, resistant to decay and mold.

Each panel is approximately 4.85 square feet: Divide the total project area by 4.85 to determine how many panels you would need.

Yes! Hot or cold, our panels are designed to withstand the elements

Approximately 1lb/sf.

While not made for driving, the panels support a minimum load of 374 PSI, which equates to over 50,000 lbs per square foot...so you absolutely could drive on them. However, synthetic turf isn't made for driving on, and cars could easily damage the turf. Vehicular-rated pavers, on the other hand, could be used on top of EasyLock Panels for driveways.

With any rough wood or plastic blade, be it a circular saw, table saw, jigsaw, sawzall, etc.

Typically, the turf is free-floating with the outer perimeter edge attached to the panels with stainless-steel staples once the turf has been infilled and any wrinkles worked out

The same way it's used over stone: with seam tape and adhesive.

No. In over 20 years of panel use, experience has shown that an insignificant amount of sand washes through the panel system.

Geotextile fabric is a permeable fabric used in construction to filter, separate, reinforce, drain and/or protect the soil. When used in conjunction with our panels—in addition to acting as a weed barrier—the geotextile fabric acts like a snowshoe to help spread the load and prevent the panels from sinking into the ground. In the vast majority of installations, geotextile is necessary.
